Problem

In todays world capturing peoples attention in the vast ocean of media can be difficult.

Brief

The challenge is to create a music video for Jack Parow’s album Die Evangelie van Goeie Tye that authentically captures his artistic identity. The video must visually translate the song's energy to resonate with Parow and his fanbase, delivering a memorable experience that amplifies the track's impact.

Solution

The solution was to create a vibrant, mixed-media music video for Jack Parow’s song "Neusbreek." Combining bold colours, animation, and diverse media elements to capture the energy and intensity of the song visually. I also chose to make it a Lyrics music video

Solution

Client

Jack Parow is a South African rapper, singer and songwriter. He rapps in Afrikaans and focuses on being bold with both his words and visuals.

Creating

Skull

In Blender, the design utilised the quick explode option to break the object apart. Outlines were then added to give the object a 2D appearance, enhancing the visual style.

Snake

Using Blender, the design involved creating toruses and rotating them, while applying a snake-like texture and simulating snake movements. Bold colours and outlines were incorporated to ensure the 3D elements fit seamlessly within the overall aesthetic of the video.

Drawing

By making use of procreate. I was able to custom create and draw shapes which was later added to After effects.

This allowed me to add lots of color to the frames. As well as flashy effects to further enhance the visuals
